Drinks

The beverage program at the Long Weekend is the fine work of Jayson Wilde, Future Bars Beverage Director.

The intention of the beverage program is to let this place be fun and adventurous without having to read a paragraph for a cocktail description. If guests want to hear about everything that went behind the drinks, we are delighted to share it with them, but we want our guests to be amazed by the thoughtful design, the ambiance of sound/visuals, and to enjoy their time with friends first and foremost.

The menu spans into the core of Daiquiris and Mojitos. You can either have it classic with the Havana Club Anejo Blanco or flavored. Those flavors are Strawberry, Tropical (Pineapple/Coconut but not creamy!), and watermelon. You also get your choice to have it shaken and served up on the rocks, blended, or on shaved ice! The mojitos are served on the chewable Sonic style ice and are available in all of these flavors as well.

Some of the classics we chose were the Hotel Nacional (A pineapple and apricot Daiquiri variation that never disappoints), a Bumbo (Coconut water and rich dark rum blend Old Fashioned), a chocolatey Daiquiri Mulata, to name a few!

We also made a few non-rum cocktails that were inspired by Cuban flavors so that we didn't leave anyone out! A few of those items are the Princessa (A blended gin based coconut cream, mint, and guava syrup crusher), the Malecon Tropical (a passionfruit driven Boulevardier), and our Hombre Cohete (a choice of Vodka or Dark Rum with our espresso liqueur blend and a touch of banana). We really tried our best to honor the flavors of Cuba and we are more that excited to share them with San Francisco and our North Beach neighbors!

¡Salud!
